Where There's Smoke There's IreAesop's Fabled Shepherd boy, the one who fooled the neighbors with so many false cries of "Wolf!" that they simply went back to sleep when a real wolf finally appeared, evokes little sympathy. Most people feel he got exactly what was coming to him (the wolf, a good trencherman, ate him along with the sheep), but today there is concern that the same thing could be happening with the Surgeon General's 1964 report linking cigarette smoking with lung cancer....
